I lost my brother, and even though I knew his time was coming, I never got the chance to say goodbye in the way I needed to. There were words left unspoken, moments I wished I could have held onto just a little longer. The silence after his passing felt heavy — like something unfinished.
But he didn’t leave me completely. In the days and weeks that followed, he came to me — not in the physical sense, but in ways that only the heart can truly understand. I felt his presence in quiet moments, in dreams, in sudden waves of warmth and knowing. He let me know he was still close by. That love doesn’t end with death. That connection, once forged in soul, never truly breaks.
